Welcome to the
East High School Girls' Basketball
 'Lady Thunderbirds'
In Anchorage, Alaska the winters are cold, but the girls basketball is hot! And one of the hottest teams are
the Lady Thunderbirds of East High School in Anchorage, Alaska. The Lady Thunderbirds start their season on December, 2007 with non-conference home games against Grace Christian. The "C", JV, and Varsity Lady T-Birds will travel to Nikiski and Soldotna, Alaska for non-conference games in January of 2008.

This year is also the
23rd anniversary of the T-Bird Classic Tourney, an East High tradition which will be held on January 10-12, 2008, which brings in teams from all over Alaska. Coached by Dorena Bingham, the Varsity Lady T-Birds amassed a record of 22-8 in their
2006-07 season.
The Lady T-Birds play against other Anchorage high schools in the Region IV Conference. The other high schools they compete with include the Bartlett Golden Bears, the Chugiak Mustangs, the Dimond Lynx, the Eagle River Wolves, the Service Cougars, the South Wolverines, and the West Eagles.
Their goal, as always, is to win the State tournament of Alaska which will be held the third week of March 2008. So join us as we go through the Lady T-Birds 2007-2008 season and cheer them on as they work to achieve their goal.
We will have highlights of the games with win/loss records and statistics. You can see this years players, read about their coach Dorena Bingham, and see all of the scores and statistics.
